I think that there should really be an item that allows users to change their username... I mean, there is an item that allows us to change our pets' names, right ...? My username is just getting obnoxious. D: 

If I'm not wrong, you could contact staff and they could arrange something. There actually has been pat ideas that suggested username changing, however I've never really thought it would be good to have a username changing device. It would be too confusing having lots of people going all like 'Oh I'm so and so, remember?'. There's a small group of people who had their usernames changed it's very confusing when you do encounter one, this group would get larger if we did have an item.

Agreeing with Nono. It should be a thing on your prefences, like your character cla-ss. And it could be used only one time.

I don't mind my username. Again, I just need a capital "P."

If we are not able to change the lettering of our username surely this device, could change the case of lettering in the name. For instance;

The username 'jim' wanted to changed his username to 'jimzilla'. This is impossible to obtain with this device so instead he changes his name to 'Jim'. Yes, it may not be perfect for everybody with a username flaw, but it works for some.

It's true this has been suggested many times, and is a nice idea.

The main issue stopping it from happening is abuse and scamming potential. If it happened I would like to see a public note on profiles about the previous account name.

Additionally, I don't think this should ever be a tradeable item, but it might be worked in as some other CS feature that users can apply for.

I like xee's idea of making this something you apply for instead of an item.  Something like that solves the abuse problem.  And the public note on profiles solves the scamming problem.  Not to mention that if someone scams and then changes their username somehow, the staff will have a record of what they changed it to.  I'd love to see a CS username changing application put up. c:
