It would be very helpful for the way I train and care for my Creatu - I like to start at either the first or the last and go forward or back one at a time.  It would also be nice for if you want to get to a Creatu who's name comes toward the end of the alphabet, whether on your own profile or someone else's, particularly if browsing the pets of someone who had a lot of pets in their rancher shop before the V2 conversion and hasn't moved them into either their shop or their show room.
