Everyone must have noticed that the forest is now completely empty, and it will always be like that, since more people search for pets than release them. Here's my idea: How about if we could get more than only 50tu, when releasing a pet into the forest? What if it could work with colors? Exemple: (TU you get for releasing a pet of each color)
Natural: 5000tu Sepia: 10,000tu Cream: 10,000tu Black: 30,000tu Ginger: 75,000tu Silver: 200,000tu Blonde: 400,000tu Albino: 1mil tu Of course, for seasonals & CS, there would be a variation in prices. That way, everyone would be willing to release pets more often and I'm pretty sure that the forest would stay stocked. What do you think? :D

No use releasing pets, it will be empty anyways.
Why? Because you can only hatch 3 pets a day. Even if you forest all 3, that's just 3. On the other hand you can search 10 times a day. Okay, sometimes you do not find anything, let's say you find 7 or 8. Adopt or skip, the pets you found will dissapear from the forest. So even in an ideal case of foresting all your hatched pets, that's -3 or -4 pet/user a day.
Let's add, that Merchant's have only 1 hatch, and that most people do not forest all their hatched pets, but do search the forest 10 times a day (as honestly, there is nothing much else to do), and everyone can see it is impossible to keep it full. The only solution would be, if all users would be allowed only one search a day, with like 50% chance of finding something. That would maybe balance it out.

Well, then .. it would be a great idea to change that! It would be better if they simply would stay in the forest, waiting for someone else to adopt them! O_O

Well then we'd go back to the way it was before the deletion thing was implemented, where most pets just never got adopted, and they kept piling up until almost every find was junk. Even if it means an empty forest, I still think deleting of pets that people pa-ss is a good thing. It means less unwanted pets clogging up the ACS.

Maybe do something like, if it's been skipped over 5 or more times, it gets deleted? I mean, if you see a pet you don't want, maybe someone else will so we need to give them a chance to find it.

I saw someone suggest something like that a few days ago. It is a pretty good idea. Kind of an inbetween - you do have some deleting, but it's not so rampant that an ACS page of pets in the forest only accounts for two, maybe three people's daily searching, like it is now.

I really, truly don't see an issue with it. Or maybe give pets a time limit, like thay can only be in the forest for an hour before they're deleted if the skip limit doesn't work?

Pets are no longer deleted, I was told, but I'd love to test that.

Pets get deleted. It is the function of the Forest to remove unwanted pets from play. The forest achieves this very well by allowing other users a chance to get them before they are gone.
Empty Forest = No Unwanted Pets No Unwanted Pets = Good, right? Empty Forest = Good, right?
