This is a petition/suggestion to get rid of the picture smilies.
Here are my reasons.
Children entering the SB have no self control. They see pretty colors and find it irresistable to post them all at the same time, or use more than 3 to convey their 'emotions'. Which could just as easily, and much less annoyingly, be conveyed with text smilies. :o
We don't need an eyesore-ish green face saying 'lol' ... to just say lol. They cause nothing but unnecessary stress for support staff, who have more pressing things to take care of than to have to tell someone over and over until they get it, "Posting a smiley without text is considered spam. Please refrain from doing so."
All in all, it would be one less annoyance in the shout box, and take a tiny bit of the workload off of support staff.
EDIT: Roxas had the excellent idea of an option where each individual user can change it to where the images don't show up, or show up as text instead, like on messengers.
