I really don't like waiting 15 days for a pet to die and then waiting 15 more days to have its name lost. I am not suggesting an item to change the name quickly, because there is one called a name tag, just an item to kill the pet quick. Maybe a "Bottle 'o Death" or something :3

Although this might not be a bad idea, and it would be very convenient for re-naming, I fear that it could disrupt the balance of the game. If these "Death Potions" come out in the CS, they'd be the same as a NT, no? And if they come out in the Pharmacy, then nobody would have any use for the name tags anymore. They could just buy an Insta-death for TU.
I believe the 30 days to die was set up so that people would not want to bother with the inconvenience, and would simply buy the CS items. However, it gives a way to re-name a pet if one is low on funds ( and wealthy in patience. ;P ). The way things are is very secure and stable. Changing it would either cause the name-market to collapse, or do nothing at all. After all, how much more convenient would it be to pay either 5-6mil (if in the Black Market, this would probably be the price), or the same in credits as a name tag? Plus you have to buy a Res potion.
Personally, I say this would not be a good idea. Sorry, Ram.
