Since the return of death, I've been feeding my Creatu manually, mostly because I got one of those popcorn sacks, which I've a feeling would only feed one pet per day if you put it in the food pen. And I find it a bit of a pain to scroll halfway through my inventory every time I want to use it.

So, I've had an idea. Perhaps, at the top of one's inventory, there could be a box or something, which shows the item you most recently used or perhaps an item you've selected to be there.

It seems like something like this could be pretty useful for multiple things - manual feeding, training, playing with your Creatu (when the mood thing is fixed).. Anything that involves or can involve using the same item repeatedly.

It would also be nice for when I go on a doughnut-slinging spree.  It goes to a completely different page, and then takes you back to the inventory page, where I have to scroll back down, etc, etc...  I had been thinking about a "Shoot another doughnut" button for that, but since this would pretty much cover anything you use in your inventory, I think it would be perfect.
