I know that dead accounts will start piling up eventually, and a lot of names will be left in them dead showrooms. So I devised an idea to release them names.
So if a user is inactive for X months, all their pets will be moved on to their profile.
Hm, well... i know how "not being able to get online" can strike you unexpected... or when other things simply matter more, like your real live/deaths/job/*insert other things here* for a while. So while i do like the idea of names getting free eventually, my month amount won't be less then 24. As in: at least2 years before doing anything to pets of simply -inactive- acounts. (i repeat: at least X3)
Banned ones would be another matter. No clue how thoose are handled right now anyway.
Banned ones should get wiped out for a year or so if they can't get unbanned...that's only my opinion though, and there are many flaws with that.
I do agree with Mia. Two years or more would be good...if someone can't get on for that long, then I don't know. In that time they should be able to get on at a library or something quickly just to keep themselves 'active'. The name I want I fear is in a showroom on a banned/inactive account. ;c Support~
2 years sounds good. I suppose the user should get an email telling them all their pets are on their profile too, just in case they're going on a really long hiatus.
I agree with the 2 year+email alert for inactive users. It's a good time frame and the email is a good backup reminder. If still no action is taken, the user probably isn't coming back.
As for banned users, I say 9 months should be more than enough before clearing.

2 years is NOT extreme! For kids a month can seem to be a long time to wait, but 2 years for an adult is nothing. These games are a good way to teach kids some patience. Lets make it 3 years, just so you all can cry a little bit more about it. ):D

No, DONT!!!!! If you delete those accounts, you'll miss all the memories of FUN THINGS!!!!!!!! Just Write their Life-History in Blogs and THEN DELETE THEIR ACCOUNTS!!!!!
