When a link is posted on the shoutbox, users must go through a page to ensure that the link they are clicking on is secure. However, when a link is posted in the forum, blogs or userpages this security page does not appear. I think we need this everywhere.
On another note, when you click on the link in the shoutbox, you leave the shoutbox to go to a different page, when you click on the link on the security page, it opens it in a new tab. Shouldn't it be the other way aroound? Y'know, click the link in the shoutbox and it'll go to a new tab then open the foreign link on that same new tab? I normally right click and open a the link in the shoutbox in a new tab because it takes a while for me to load up the shoutbox again. But then I end up with two new tabs, which is slightly annoying.
Even though users here are responsible enough to not post insecure or innappropriate links and this does not pose such a huge issue on this site. I feel that it is the duty of a website to ensure the safety of their users and an inconsistancy in this security is not good.
I don't expect to see this change now but I think this would be nice to see in V3!
