Okay so I'm not around much because nothing new was happening here, I got tired, and had no friends anyway so it didnt matter. I'm even posting this suggestion half exhausted with the idea of logging out going to bed and forgetting that I even posted here to begin with.
Sorry if that sounds insulting. But here is a suggestion from someone who keeps 'checking' to see if this site is actually doing anything new. And whose still gonna check because I'm still 'waiting', and will always be waiting:
Updates. I need more updates. Every single week I check this site, because checking everyday and finding nothing was disappointing. To see if there's anything, anything new at all going on.
Raffle Tickets...Raffle Tickets...Raffle Tickets...whoop de doo and more...Raffle Tickets...that's not much of an update.
I was so disappointed today to see yet again another Raffle Ticket post since St. Patricks day (a long time ago now) that I almost up and decided to give up on this place. But that was out of anger and disappointment.
Here's an opinion from the people you at least want to grab and keep. Have people write stories, submit them in the updates, or the news thread. I don't care about someone who won the raffle tickets...that doesn't say much about the development of the site and the people, it just says someone bought a raffle ticket and won money.
What I would care about is a new book being published, the publish a book contest actually becoming active, and once a month seeing a new book go out. What I do care about is news like 'this book/item is about to become retired so get as many as you can before time runs out', or 'theres a new book', and occassionally a new creatu or a egg hunt is nice. But a national game every now and then not every couple of months. But once a week 'The find the blah blah hunt begins again this week', Or here's a writing/drawing contest. I wouldn't mind hearing every now and then someone won an art contest or a writing contest, or several people did and it was announced along with the story. Or even new submissions and regular awards, and things everyone can achieve or something spicy/interesting. Unless you post the contest no one will do it...
An update on the development of this site and whats going on even just on a weekly basis would be something. Like what's been done as of late if everything else is too much.
Maybe I'm too harsh, but that's me being honest. That's me being honest about what I've felt when I check this site every week trying to decide if anything interesting is happening out of the same old ordinary that I should be apart of.
No one even announced the april fools egg. That was disappointing. I had to check the trades to see what was going on with that before I realized what was going on.
It's like geeeee. It's like going t oa newspaper everyday and hearing "Louis caught the ball today."
"Mary Caught the ball today."
"Richard Caught the ball today."
"Rachel caught the ball today."
so mundane. Keep it updated, keep it varied.
