lutinofeather that's what I was thinking; it would be just one color. It would be waayyy too much trouble, both for collecters and the artists, if there was a version for every hue
Like, it's all one color, and just one color, but it would look different on different species. Which is already the case with some colors (for instance some albino pets are pure white, some have some off-white)
However, a quick suggestion - the markings could still be hatchable, but I don't think they should nessecarily be a "color". Yes, it might be confusing and it might take more work on staff's part, but I think it would be exciting to implement mutations (such as these markings) as well as colors, as a seperate category.
