It may have been suggested before, but here it goes: I thought it would be fun to have site sponsored HA contests. They would be similar to the art contests with prizes and judging by staff. If it's too much for staff, maybe users could vote for their favorites. There's definitely plenty of HA items that can be put to use!
Also, maybe CS items could be limited to one item per outfit, so that people don't abuse it. There could also be different categories like one for old users/new users/young crowd. ^^
An HA contest/spotlight feature is definitely something we would like to implement. I don't think that staff would be able to handle all the judging though (we are a small team with lots to do already!). We need to build some kind of system where players could nominate/judge each other fairly. We would love to hear more suggestions on what players would like to see from such a feature, as well as ideas on how to keep a player-player judgement system fair.
Perhaps a system where HA's are judged a few rounds by other members, then a finalists panel is judged by the staff? It would reduce the amount of work staff would have to do..though..there's still issues with fairness in getting to the finals.
Neat idea though, I'd enter, and usually I don't enter things like this. :p
I think the anonymous idea is great; it would also stop (at first at least) people from voting on their friends, rather than the avatar they find most cool.
The limited-cs-item thing would also make things a lot more fair, especially for newer users, who havent got tu to buy the the old items and havent been around when the items came out.
Its a great idea, it would be really fun if implemented :3
