It would be nice if we could trade items for pets because rarely people trade pet for pet they will trade a good pet for a bad one and the open a trade and trade a good item for a bad one

So to make the process simiplier we are able to trade item for pet

hmm.. not quite.  usually people don't trade good items for bad ones - the seller (or giver) can transfer it directly to the person who bought it or whatever.  but I know what you mean though.

perhaps instead of the ability to trade items for pets, how about the ability to send a pet to someone - just as items can currently be sent to someone?  this would also be perfect for those who just want to gift away free pets and eliminate the need for "junk" pets.

I'm not really sure entirely if this is a good idea or not.. but will watch and see what others have to say.
