Polls are pretty much questionnaires that can or cannot be answered by anonymous people.They're usually used for feedback, curiosity, or boredom.
Several ways I can think of implementing this. :D
1. Have a whole forum dedicated to polls made by users and staff. It would pretty much be like a regular thread with the question in the first post and answers in the rest.
2. A regular thread but with the option of adding a poll to it (like the type of polls where you select the answer and submit). Would be good for feedback or something.
3. A separate area from Forums and Blogs. Where people can submit their own polls and everyone can look through all of the polls and answer them. People can also choose whether comments can be added or not.
