If this has already been suggested and regected, or there already is one, let me know, I might have missed it. XD I have always felt weird because I never knew if I was pronouncing the creatu name right. So I'm just suggesting a simple thing were you can see how to pronounce a pet, the animal Koala, would be; (k-O-wal-a). Please let me know what you think, I think this would be a big help for some users. Thanks!

Yes, and please use IPA. I'm dying to know whether the r in Scria is an alveolar approximate, tap, or trill.

For me this would neither hurt nor help. For those of you that want to be told how it was meant to be pronounced, I suppose this would be good. Personally, I already have my own ways of pronouncing everything on Res, and I'm familiar with these pronunciations. If there was some guide telling me that I'm saying it "wrong", it would just throw me off. I probably wouldn't use it, I'd just stick to the way I've pronounced things since I joined Res. I'm not saying that this shouldn't be added, I'm just saying that I find it unnecessary.

Still, for those users that have been bothered to know if there right, II think it would be a good idea, but for those that don't care, they could keep saying it the way they want. C=

I suppose that's pretty much what I was trying to say. Just showing the other side of it. ...I think I would say this should just be a guide...maybe even an actual item, some sort of book?

I wouldn't think users should spend money just to learn how to pronounce the name. Maybe in the creatu list next to were it says the creatu name. What abou that?

For those that want the pronunciation right next to the word, I suppose it wouldn't bother me that much. Good luck with your idea, like I said, this wouldn't help me personally, but it wouldn't hurt me either and it looks like there are others that would find it helpful. :)

You've got my support. I've always wondered how you pronounce certaing Creatu names. Like Tacos, I have my ways too. But this isn't exactly important or anything, but yeah, it would be interesting.

Well, I support... kind of. But something like "Koala (k-O-wal-a)" wouldn't help me much o_0. As I am not English to begin with, I still won't know how am I supposed to read "k-O-wal-a". Now in my language I read "Koala" as "Koala". If someone told me I should read it "k-O-wal-a", in my language that would become "Kovala". So instead of some kind of phonetic writing I would prefer if it was like a sound file linked to the name. Like when you click on the name, you hear how it is pronounced. Not that I cannot live without knowing the right pronounciation, noone around me plays Res, so I never say these words out loud :).

I support, but I don't feel this is a dire need or anything. I wouldn't mind waiting for other things to come first before this. Otherwise, pronunciation doesn't affect the way we type.

Uwi, true, but, It does bother me a bit that I don't know how they are really pronounced. I was arguing with Snowwy the other day(I know her in person, so I heard her pronounce it) and she pronounced otachi, Ow-ch-ee and I said, no, I think it is Oh-ta-ch-ee. lol
