I love the idea of Quelis Ink. What if we were able to personalize cards to send to other users, or notes even? Quelis ink could be a requirement for creating the card.

How would the ink be obtained? Would it be in a shop, or given by the springs by chance? Maybe a quest? 

Same question for any other items too. Get busy you guys, brainstorm us some details! =)

Hm... it could be something entirely different from the Enchanted springs that gets the ink for you. Like the ice tunnels, only... not.

Your pet stumbles upon an underwater cavern. It appears that the cave is mostly underwater, and requires an elastic, squishy body can only squeeze through the narrow passageways. Maybe a squid-like creatu could fit into the tunnels?

(at this point your daily search would end and you would get a bottle of that color quelis's ink. A mutant quelis would give off extra ink, good for two uses)

As _______ walks in, it sees a large treasure trove of special waterproof paper, and a seemingly waterproof pen. ____________ is attracted to the stack of papers, and grabs one. ___________ also picks up the pen, and returns to you triumphantly.

Obviously failure is more likely than the success. I was thinking the ratio 90% to 10%, or 80% to 20%. Maybe even 70% to 30% (we do have to take into consideration that the squid has to get through two obstacles at this ridiculously high rate. It would also make the pen and paper much harder to obtain than the ink, which would be good)

Then, instead of a quest, the ink, pen, and paper could be similar to the starglass urn + stardust idea. You first fill the pen with ink (it then turns into that type of pen). Then, you use the pen on the paper (by again clicking the "use" button on the pen in your inventory) and type up your note.

The paper color could differ depending on what ink you use on it (because we all know black ink on black paper is a no-no). Like, it starts out white, and there can be something that says, "Oh! The paper was in that room so long that it is having a chemical reaction to your ink! The only thing that seems to have changed is the color of the paper though..." The color of paper would turn the "opposite" of your ink then. Like, if you had an albino ink pen, the paper would turn black from the reaction. If you had a magenta ink pen, maybe it would turn azure? (I was thinking of a couple more opposites: silver/achro, Sepia/Cream, Blonde/Ginger Calico/Natural Indigo/Lemon Rose/Amber Lime/Orchid and Trance could be its own opposite lol)

The pen you pick up could also have different styles. "Print", or normal font, would be the most common. "Cursive" would be another one, "Caligraphyl" could be another one, "Childish" another, just to make your note even more personal and unique :3
