Alright so In the SB we got talking about hidden avatars and some that users really like are the Creatu Collection Avatars.
Now these came from the Bio-Scan event, now none of us want this connected with our Kir quest but rather have an event that can be held in the summer. This event lets us scan our pets once each year and logs them into a separate log all together from our creatu one. It will only long each pet ID once, re-scanning will update only colors (perhaps ages and stats as well?). Once a complete Creatu set is complete the Hidden avatars for the different collections are given. Now to the Unknown effect, this is why its once a year, so that users can have a chance to re-scan the pets and at random there will be times when they get the effect.
Now there is ONE little problem. It was discovered durring the bio-scan event that the glitch colored pets (Gold/Uldalvian seasonal or common creatu, wyrae as well) when scanned caused it so no one else could get the avatar unless they also scanned a pet in this color.
Perhaps some sort of over ride to this is needed? Or a prevention of scanning at all? If a way to make it so you only need to register in the available colors it would fix that problem.
Now Fun back story behind returning Bio-scan!
Phaeda has a lot of data about the creatu and has begun to wonder how many creatu are out there. She knows more have been hatched and that Iviks and Galta now have begun to populate the the planets. She decides she wants to do a count of all the creatu and have the data scanned of all of them. A creatu Census!
Of course with the Bio-scan comes the Unknown effect, this effect is not yet on the list for all creatu nor is there any known art for this effect. In this new quest it could be a chance to be received when a pet ins scanned and a prize shop to hold an item that gives the effect.
Any ideas what this item could look like or be? I'm a bit stumped myself at the moment.

I wouldnt mind if this returned for an event or there was an alternative way to get the avatar. However I would rather it wasnt an annual event leaving room for other events different years for example the reiflem fire festival. - Llama
I see what you mean with this, Maybe as a Quest would be better? Giving Phaeda her own quest to do for Kir to be more helpful to him and Uldalvi? Maybe add a point/level system with books that tell the history of Uldalvi we've been missing? Maybe more about Phaeda and Kir? The history of Iviks? RSTU001&002? Galtas? Or maybe the old Ivik squishies?
