Since some the recipe cards and things could disappear on the first opening without letting you read them, why not add a choice to read the book YOURSELF instead of having your pet read it? Your pet would not gain intellect but you could read the book as much as you want without losing it. That WAS the 'beef', that people were lending books to each other to make pets smarter, right? This option would solve that without ripping us off of our rare books.
I support. Not just the recipe cards, but the other books too, winners of the book contests and such. I really like some of the stories, and I would like to read them again once in a while, without risking the book going poof while doing so. I think if the writers invested so much time in perfecting the stories, they also would prefer if people actually read them.
A very good idea. I find myself afraid to see what's inside the Liyure book, for the risk of it poofing. After the insane prices the Kioka one has reached, I think I'll try not to break these books. x3
And indeed, some of the stories are incredible and certainly warrant a reread once in a while. I'd rather not have to chance my book disappearing upon simply trying to read its contents again, even if it was a cheapo one like the Wild Untitled Book.
Support! I've only read two books, ever one only once each because I was always too afraid of poofs. Gha, it would be so much better to read it without poofs.
