Recently, this other site I had made me do a test in order to keep my account validated and active (since I joined the site before they inputted this into the system)
This test was about the site rules. I had to get all the answers correct before I could have a fully active account again. Despite how redundant I thought it was because I hadn't done anything wrong since I signed up, I now come to think of it as being a really good idea.
So, what I'm thinking is that most of the drama, spamming and all that jazz happens in the SB right? So why don't new players have a few days without SB acess, then they can take a rules test to be allowed in the SB. If they get any wrong, they can try again after reset, until they get it all correct. (Like Science class safety tests) If someone gets temporarily banned, when they come back they could take the same quiz.
I think that this would make the rules more known around Res so a great many users and staff don't have to remind people on a regular basis.
I'm just spitting an idea out here. What do you all think?
