I was thinking the other day ... If only I could go on Rescreatu on my iPod when I'm not at home ... So then I searched for it (or something like that) in the app store. And I didn't find anything :*(
So, my proposal is for Rescreatu to create a mobile app that would allow players to log on (especially those with tiny iPod touch or iPhone screens) and enjoy playing :) I currently have no idea how to do this exactly, but I am more than willing to help out and serve as an input person. Please let me know what you think of this idea.

Thank you people of Rescreatu! <3

o-o yes.
the only problem i could see for this is the fact that it would take alot of work for pat and the coders on res to be able to make an app :>

other than that total support!♥

Yeah, that was one thing I had a problem with too, but I thought I might as well suggest it <3

No support. This has been suggested several times and I'm still against it. The biggest issue is that yes, it's a lot of time and money that could be put to much better uses for the site. We don't have a big enough userbase to make it worth a mobile app as far as I'm aware. Plus, to be fair it'd have to be out there for iPod and Android, as there are just as many users out there with Android as iPods, me being one of them. Which further cuts the numbers if an app is only developed for one or the other.

I do, however, support a mobile-friendly version of the site, for people who have slow computers/internet/or want to access on a mobile device, as currently if you're not using a browser (other than IE), a lot of things don't work.

You do make an excellent point, Graveyardfox. And that is mainly the only thing with why I created this thread. Thanks for some more input :)

I have considered making a mobile friendly version of the website that has minimal required functionality. Which features do you consider a must have and useful for a mobile phone platform? I was thinking at bare minimum you could log in and hatch your pets and take care of them.

I was thinking also access to shops and quests or collections, too - if possible. I don't mind if you can't, but it would be preferable - to me, at least.

I think this was discussed a while ago, and these were the things people wanted:
Hatchery,
Stocks,
Springs,
Shops (if possible)
Showroom,
Profile,
Alerts
And some other things which I don't remember :I

I've been working on a mobile app for android users. It isn't ready for general use or even testing at this point, but I will bump that other thread when it is and let you guys know where to download it.

I don't have an apple device so I'm not sure if I'll be able to do one for iPod/iPad devices or not, sorry!

I'd be up for helping to test that app if you need it.  I've been traveling a bit, and my Nexus has been my new bestest buddy.  I'm currently using Chrome on it to access Res, but an app would be awesome.  :)

My iPhone allows me to access Rescreatu, as well as my iPod. I have access to everything already, so I don't see much use for this. I can't support this.

Yeah there is access to everything, but for me it's quite annoying when I go on my iPod , and I know quite a few others who find this kind of thing pesky, too. But yes, I do see what you mean, Zachrock.

Again, thanks guys for the input & stuff :)
