Okay, I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place for it, but I've noticed that the page with the site rules and the guide thing are somewhat outdated. I don't think it'd be a huge fix, and I think it'd help quite a lot :)
You're right, some of the rules are a bit out of date, and there are some that aren't even mentioned there.
When guiding users to the rules, us staff tend to use tle="this" target="_blank">this updated rules page that Zen put together. ^.^ It has a lot of those extra bits that are good to keep in mind but aren't on the official rules page.
I agree, though. It would be handy to have all that info under the actual rules button, where it's clear to everyone.
