Revamp Idea for the Intes<3

So, I happened to have fallen in love with the little bugs, teh Intes x3 The only bug on all four planets (It IS the only bug, right?) and I find extremely adorable. But I have been thinking about this, and what made me fall in love with the Intes is the idea of them looking like the 'Novistador'


  • A Novistador (faux Spanish for "No Sighter" or, literally "No see the man") is a large, insect-like creature encountered by Leon in Resident Evil 4 (Video Game). When killed, novistadores provide "eye" stones (a jewel located directly above their...eyes xD) of three colours (red, blue, and green) The Eye colour depends on the "mode" the Novistador is in, for example, the default colour for the Novistador is blue, when it doesn't notice a person, whereas the colour is green when they detect Leon, and red in the middle of attacking.

  • They're about as tall as a human (when standing up), some can fly and others can turn invisible x3

Now, you may all think I'm crazy, but I'd love the see the Intes look more like something that would spit acid (xD) and guard caves/castles from intruders ^^ I think the idea of an Intes looking hostile/evil/menacing is just plain awesome. It would be unique, and several people I've talked to (a few of them staff members) have said they'd definitly want to own one/start a collection if they looked more like that -points at picture-


Notes:

 

  • I don't want everyone to think that I want the idea of the Intes revamp to look EXACTLY like the Novistador, since it's a suggestion we should throw our own ideas in, but I'd like to keep the same basis :)

  • I REALLY like the antenna and headplate on the top of the Intes head :) if they are ever to get revamped, I'd like that to stay <3

So, what do you all think? Is it a good idea? Or should I crawl into a hole and die for suggesting such awful ideas? Tell me your opinion!

I'd love to see an Intes with less cute and more kickarse. So yeah. xD

Crawl in a hole and die ;o

I have mixed opinions on this xD while a less-cutesy intes sounds interesting I'm not fond of the Novistador's body-shape-ness. Personally, I don' like those bugs because they remind me of that crazy grasshopper in Bug's Life xD

Also, if we placed little children (normal ones, not like my sister) would they fee intimidated? But if I was a kid, I wouldn't really want to keep seeing something that intimidates me (but then again Raru is sure she's part chicken)

Like I don't know how is it you picture the intes and how I see it probably differs so yeah o3o I dunno. It' still a pretty neat design and I'm usually a sucker for headplate things.

They should also make the baby like a grub. Because grubs are adorable :D

Looks a bit hard to draw. It's gonna be hell if I do commissions of them. So I reject this idea for my own personal benefit.

I think the intes should be based off a locust because it eats crops. I don't quite think it should look like anything from a videogame. It just doesn't seem too original.

yes. it does look like a mutant bug. (LOL!!!) the new intes should have long claws and still look cute. not terribly scary. plus if we base it of of the bug thing or use it for the intel it would look wierd. i belive.
