I don't agree.
we could have a staff commemoration day, and we could change the days every year so that it would come as a surprise!
Staff already get their own items, avatars, and trophies. Plus, more stuff is on the way for them. I think having a day where we celebrate staff is a bit of overkill.
Or maybe it could be for a week, so that we can be sure that every single staff member enjoys the limelight for awhile!
Staff already have "limelight"constantly by having colored usernames. Dragging it out for a week would be pointless, in my opinion.
on this occasion, staff members can find personalised/exclusive staff squishies, goody bags, etc. or maybe even get a bonus. well, maybe. X)
That's giving staff an unfair advantage on the game over the users. Being on staff isn't intended to make a person glorified and get ahead in the game, it's meant to do jobs that not just everyone can do.
then before that, a contest will be held(staff cant join. XD. it will be a competition to write the best tribute to the staff, which will be posted... well... somewhere. notices or something.
Ehhh. Staff have their own books. I don't think it should be a site-wide competition to see who can kiss butt more than some one else.
One of the exclusives i have an idea of is a book of contributions and achievements a staff member has made. Then a staff member can get like 2 or 3 copies so that they could sell for a high price? X) but that may spoil the economy, i'm not sure, i'm not good at numbers. This book can be rewritten/added on to every staff day.
Again, staff can get their own books made and available to all the other users. Giving them their own item to monopolize and sell to everyone would just be... foolish.
You know, i think the staff members would really like a time when people could express their thanks for everything they did for rescreatu.
How about we do that every time they do something for us? It doesn't have to be dedicating a whole day for them. As I've said a couple of times. Staff get their own themed items and what such. There's more in the works as well. And staff get their very own one-of-a-kind item that no one else can have. I truly think that's enough.
Don't get me wrong, I desperately appreciate all the staff members, but having an official site-wide day dedicated to glorifying them is a bit much. It might cause some people to draw the wrong conclusions about staff (thinking they're in it only for the glory) or for the staff to think that they are almighty and nothing they do can be condoned, which will cause corruption.
