I was reading recently about how scientists are trying to create dinosaur-like chickens by bringing out recessive genes in their DNA. Pretty crazy right? Anyway, the chickens would have long tails and claws at the front of their wings, much like the prehistoric archeopteryx (see picture below). So I think it would be INCREDIBLY cool if the mutant mirabilis resembled an archeopteryx with teeth, clawed wings, and a tail (and maybe other prehistoric traits as well). Not too hard to imagine is it? Tell me what you think!
Dino-Chickens! I watched something about these a while ago. Apparently chicken start out with pretty long tails, but then they shrink, maybe a few weeks before they hatch (I don't remember), and scientists are working off of the tails, because that's like the chickens' greatest conection with dinosaurs.
Anyway, total support, I kept wondering, how are they going to make a creatu that was based off of being pretty and perfect, mutated?
