i would like it if you could turn off your alerts or to be able to unsubscribe to your posts ... i get bomb barded with alerts from posts that i have subscribed to up to 50 at a time. i would like to be able to turn it off or unsubscribe
Turning off alerts is kind of the opposite of progress. If you turn off alerts, you won't know when people rmail you, when someone sends you something, etc. You'll basically be blind on the site.
You can Unsubscribe already, though. Just go to any of the forum Categories (ex. Suggestions), click on the Subion button, and press that little "x" beside the thread you want to stop getting alerts from.
