There's something I'd like to address directly here:
There is no point in a game if there is no challenge
There was a story of a prince. He was born rich, happy, nice, and loved, and he died nice happy rich and young.
Who would read a story like that?
Its a similar thing. No conflict, little to no story, no challenge, little to no game
As for the nagging thing, they might sound like annoying old farts that are getting on your case (though you guys aren't XD) but you have to look at the flip side, to some of us you seem like an annoy newbie who just joined the site and clearly doesn't understand it very well. (On the same note, I wonder if a year ago I was an aggravating newbie user XD)
If you are truly concerned of what the pets look like and your dream pet then go draw a picture. Its your perfect creature, story and personality. I myself, can't find many other better ways to express one's self (....then again, maybe I just like drawing XD)
