Well, Patrick, I seem to remember you opening up a discussion for this somewhere, but I can't find it... unless it was completely under your news post?
Anyway, here's what I'd like to see personally.
First... put the creatu's current stats up on the training page. I'm training alot of creatu, and right now I have to flip back and forth between tabs to make sure my creatu is being trained the way I want it to be trained. I don't mean the points to the next stat, but at least a list of all current stats.
Second... don't forget my idea of training centers for all planets. The current method could still be free training and sort of a training ring for each ranch, but very basic. Other centers could give bonuses... for instance, a veram would be more likely to train faster at the Flame Academy on Reiflem than on someone's ranch because that is where it is used to living. Perhaps give a smaller, similar bonus to ranches based on that planet as well? But the academy would have professional trainers, so the creatu would learn more in less time, however the rancher would have to pay for it.
Specialty stats... Adding more possible stats, such as stamina, would do wonders if you could find a way to work that in. Intelligence should also matter in battle. After all, if you're smarter than your opponent, you should be able to think of better ways to strike. As for stamina or reflex, that could change how the creatu's speed at recovering from a strike it made (stamina) or a strike it blocked (reflex) in battle.
Adding magic... Rescreatu is a very magical place, but where's the magic? I'm not just talking about special abilities, but spells too. How about a magic academy where a creatu can stay for a certain length of real time to learn magical skills?
I'm not big on fighting in battles, mind, but I do like being able to train my creatu as if I was. Its part of life to face opposition and strife, and so what if I only use it to give my creatu personalities? It'd be something more real to do with them than just sit there looking at them.
