Personally, I find annoying when a website attempts to be "unique" by coming up with some different word for a commonly used function. I think there's a petsite that uses "baked" instead of "banned", and I did a pretty big facepalm the first time I heard someone complain they were baked on said petsite. Not only does this seem to have a completely different meaning than what they probably intended, but it just sounds ridiculous when "banned" is completely acceptable. A site isn't made unique by its terms, only by its features.
That said, I've seen watch and subscribe in plenty of different places, so Rescreatu wouldn't be speshul using either one.
