I noticed some things which are quite peculiar while I asked a user if they would sell the item they had in auctions. They agreed to sell me the item, but since the item had no "buy it now price" they had to cancel the auction.
I explained to them how to close it and they had a hard time finding the invisible "Close auction" button
and on top of that, someone outbid me while I was explaining how to close the auction. So eventually when they closed it
The "close auction" button actually accepted the other person's bid for the item and was transferred to them.
Luckily the person was honest and sent the item to me after i payed the owner of the item.
But why should closing the auction be "accept the highest bid".
What if someone is auctioning an item of 10m worth and by the dead line they only got 600k and want to cancel it. They cant?
It we can close pet auctions without accepting the highest bid, (we can right? cause if not that should be fixed too) i don't understand why this isn't a thing in item auctions too. And I think it ought to be fixed.
