Yep, you can change. You just have to send in a Support Ticket with the email you want to change to, your old email, and the name and birthday you used to sign up with the account (I think that's all you need to include).
The reason for the name, birthday, and old email being they have to make sure you're really you and not someone trying to steal the account and lock you out.
