No no no. Your creatu must have their huger above Dying. If they're Dying for a week, then they die. If you log off for fifteen minutes, no. For a couple weeks? Probably yes.

To prevent pets from dying if you'll be offline for an extended period of time, you can put them in your Showroom where they won't age or get hungry.

A site where pets get hungry enough to die every fifteen minutes would not be very successful. XD People have lives, and the Tamagotchi phase is over.
