My Little Faerie Girl. She is dancing, Her feet small and bare, Her hair smells of dew and oaks, Her hem is stained with Life. And A breath of young, unformed roots, The rocking swirl of salt water And flickering fishes Filled her lungs. Everything is intertwined Around her body. The final pool of shimmering life in her hands, She lifts it above her head and Pours it onto her. To cleanse her senses, To cleanse the new growths that hug against her toes, To cleanse but Everything keeps on growing. meh. I don't have anything to say about this. Just for fun really, I'm not that interested in winning xD I also don't see the point in saying what colour I picked seeing as if you can't tell then I've failed as a writer.

A single cabbage-white butterfly fluttered aimlessly through the overgrown garden, where weeds dominated the scene and most wildlife had left, leaving it with an empty, deserted feel and look. But as the butterfly moved, as softly as a feather, the garden seemed to radiate peace and beauty like it had never done before. A daisy that was never noticed sat amongst the not so overgrown emerald, dew-sprinkled grass. The sun let in shafts of light through the magnificent trees. The flowers on the hedges and bushes surrounding the garden could now be seen - rose red, baby blue, indigo and many more colours. Oh, what a difference a single butterfly could make. Yeah... it's dreadful. But no one else had done a deion, so I thought I would. xD

What colour is love? The colour of your heart, which supposedly is the symbol of your desire? Is it the colour of the moon, or the sun? Is it bright, dull, Dark, or light? Is love the same colour as the lips of your loved one, Or the colour of their eyes? Is love ever defined as a colour? I think so. OK, that entry probably won't be allowed - since it's pretty much all the colours, though, if it is allowed, the colour red. In case it's not, I'm just thinkin' up another one. :)

Both great entries, guys! Super, I think it would be fine for that entry to just represent red. If you're okay with that, I can use that entry. :)

I was and still am the weakling, The one they called the Runt. Small, helpless, fool. Stupid, unworthy, failure. I was the one who never opened up, The one who never learned to fly. I was the freak, the ugly Thing, An outcast in my own tribe. Destroyed by a childhood illness, My body never adapted. I never grew the muscles I needed. Never learned how to spread my wings. My soul was bound to the Earth, Tied to the trees and the grass. The bubbling streams and the forest, The rocks and the soil. They would never know the feeling of solid ground Beneath your feet. The gentle touch of a silky moth, Or the quiet peace of a moon-lit stroll. The colours of life, The mist blanketing the forest. Dewdrops sparkling in the wee hours, The soft soft grass tickling your nose Flashes of sunlight, Unfurling buds, Gentle gurgle of water Running over the pebbles. This is where I belong. Lol Fail xD
If you really cared about animals more than humans...kindly feed yourself to the next starving wolf.

lol nope 8'D never ever telling it ever because my personal rules won't allow it. It is part of the rainbow though and if anything is key in this it is the theme of growth in it. Or puke. idk. And it's alright, I don't really want the prize xD like I said, if you can't tell then it obviously isn't good enough (ahahaha, I'm so mean to myself). I just really wanted to do this thing because it is fun! This is a great contest for creativity! I might do another for the heck of it <3

The Pissenlit King At first you are A coward, A cur, A tuck-tailed pissenlit. Who bawls and mewls, Puking from the infinite butterflies In your belly. Butter fingers, butter face. Big as the moon, Still nursing, A child still clinging onto their yolk, Their clustered zygote. Get out, child! Get up, child! Pull your finger from your mouth. You are a prince, child! A king, child! The new era cannot wait. Put on this crown, Your mewls must stop, Step up; it is your turn now. hahahaha, I think you're making me create poems for ALL THE COLOURS now. So I picked this one to share. I think the colour's more obvious though but it's still meh. The alternative titles which is slightly less attractive and not as PUNNY would be 'The Bed-wetting King' or 'Le Roi de Pissenlits'. I couldn't decide.

I am an imperfect melody, that strange and transitory phase between effulgent swathes of colour that streak bleeding across the sky; the glory of the transient shift from day to night in a wild and cacophonous wave of colour flux spilled haphazard over the world, with the inevitable rise and run of the sun. I am easily forgotten amidst the bold crash of my sister colors and their endless offspring of offshoot hues amongst whom I am but an afterthought. but still I am cool suggestion and understated elegance and refined splendor; the slinking hues in the sleek fur of a jungle huntress, the cruel and underhanded taste of deceit and intrigue and furtive romances carried out hurriedly under the eyes of an endless night sky. I am uncertain, undefined, ambiguous; interpreted a million different ways by a million different people as the shifting dark behind your eyes as you stare awestruck into the face of a solar eclipse, that dreamscape zone where night and day spill, exultant across each other, Brimming and overflowing in a whirling motley of riotous colour. I am ______ You fill in the blank :) edit: whoops, I didn't know we were supposed to do it in the color we chose. darn, and here I was all thinking I was clever making it a guessing game, lol. The color is Indigo. :) This was an amazing idea for a contest. I'd love to try and do the visual, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll have enough time for it :(
