I'm finally letting go of my beloved Haitian.
Haitian, the black female Iluvu, was hatched shortly after the first earthquake in Haiti. Many have asked to purchase or trade for her, but she meant the world to me since my best friend's cousin had been severely injured in the quake.
However, in the light of other, more recent events, people are rapidly forgetting about those who still suffer in Haiti. So I figured that this would be a good way to remind everyone out there that, while we continue to send our love to Japan and our luck to those in Libya, Haiti still needs our help.
So here's how it works:
Participants will have the option to pick 1-10 random numbers between 1 and 150. Each number can only be chosen once, so I will list numbers and their owners here as they are chosen.
The first number will cost 100,000 tu, and the following numbers will cost 60,000. For example, if you were to choose 4 as your only number, you would post that number below and send in 100,000 tu. If you later decided that you wanted 17, 96 and 52 as well, you can post these in a seperate post with the word "attached" before them so that I won't charge for a first number (it would come to 180,000).
How I'll choose the number:
I won't choose the winning number until after the raffle ends. I'm using a random number generator from a website called RANDOM.ORG, so I will have no control over the outcome. I will only pick a number once, so please don't ask for me to regenerate the winning number if you don't win.
Whoever has the winning number or number closest to it, wins. :D Easy.
But... what if two people are equally close to the winning number?
If this happens, we'll have a tiebreaker round, this time with the number being between 1 and 20. These tiebreakers will continue until someone wins.
Raffle entry will end on June 20th (or when all of the numbers are taken).
Have fun!
