My favorite quote is "Stay Gold Ponyboy, Stay Gold" Spoken By Johnny Cade in S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders.

It has so much meaning to it. Sometimes I only read the book just to get to that part. I say that to my friends when they are going through a hard time. Because I want them to stay happy and not get sad about how rough things are. I even think that to myself when things get rough for me.

My favorite quote has nothing to do with SUDO.

The violinist is that peculiarly human phenomenon distilled to a rare potency-- half tiger, half poet ~ spoken by Yehudi Menuhin

My favorite quote? "I love you" Spoken by Marcus Cole in the TV series Babylon Five, as he is dying by the side of the woman he loves. It is his first and last time to tell her this. He gives his life to her, because she was mortaly injured in a battle, and he could not bear for her to die. He discovers a way to save her, and uses it, instead dying in her place. My favorit thing, plotline or in real life, is romance. It is the glue that hholds our society together, the very essence of our culture. And the very heart of most modern books and movies. "I love you" May be a simple phrase to most, but to me, a writer, poet, and serious romantic, it means more than anyone could ever fathom.

((Actually, I even wrote an AWESOME Poem based around this quote, but I'll never post it online for others to steal. Dx Sudo? ))

The love of one's country, is a splendid thing. But why should love stop at the border?

My favorite quote is from Zombie Haiku by Ryan Mecum:

Something on the news

about people acting odd,

so I switch to sports.

Even though the book is supposed to be funny, I think that this particular haiku is a huge comment on the way that we ignore everything going on in the world unless it relates directly to our own lives. It's all the more meaningful because it's burried in with verses like: Little old ladies/ speed away in their wheelchairs,/ frightened meals on wheels.

 Also, Sudo!

One of my favorite quotes comes from a fortune cookie I got once... I tweaked it a little to sound better, but it's the same meaning:

"Knowledge without action is worse than no knowledge at all."

Meaning, if you know of somebody that needs help, or some evil that is taking place, and you do nothing about it... it's worse than not knowing about it in the first place.

"As we grow up,
we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down...
probably will.
You will have your heart broken
probably more than once
and it's harder every time.
You'll break hearts too,
so remember how it felt when yours was broken.
You'll fight with your best friend.
You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
You'll cry because time is pasing too fast
and you'll eventually lose someone you love.
So take too many pictures,
laugh too much,
and love like you have never been hurt
because every sixty seconds you spend upset
is a minute of happiness you'll never get back."

That is my favorit quote that has helped me get through alot of stuff in life, and I can read every line by heart. xP Don't forget to tell Sudo!
