I need you help! Yes, even the non-staffies. I am holding a contest! There is no fee. After all, you are the one doing the favor. I need a sample of your art, preferably pet art. I'm not looking for a banner, sorry.
You may have heard of my creatu, the Patripus/Plaidipus, and he's got a new look that is not yet put on the web. I need an artist to revamp him, and I guess I am a little spoiled for having Nightdragon as my last artist, because she is utterly amazing. I have a forum in "Suggestions and Ideas" that has links to the old pattie.
If you are kind enough to draw or at least sketch out my idea for the new him for the contest, you will most likely have a better chance of getting higher up. Not a colored-shaded-fully-done thing, just an outline or so of the adult stage. Rmail me if you want to enter or get more details!
His looks:
Imagine a Platypus that has scales intead of fur. Imagine four dark lumps of rock or metal protruding from his back, wider than they are tall. Each orange foot is like three sucker-cups all stuck together so they form one large, clover-shaped cup. This is pretty much all, but I'm open to suggestions in the comment box. He should be green scales, by the way.
