...and he needs a pirate crew. Please note that this will be the crew of an airship and not a traditional ship. He is from early 18th century steampunk England, and he is very friendly and also generally mischievous. Looking for good supporting characters who can look good while backing him up. They should not be stealing the limelight, but should be able to hold it if needed. Natural features, please, no green hair or purple eyes or wings or anything of that sort. Any gender or ethnicity, but keep in mind that America doesn't exist yet. Minimum age is 19 unless you ask first.

SHORT BACKGROUND: Trajedy is an experienced female, as she used to be the lead navigator in a flight squad. She was orphaned as a baby, and the challenge of growing up without parents has strengthened her determination and will to be top in any group. However, she sometimes likes to be the follower as well, like in this case.

APPEARANCE: Trajedy has medium build, and her irises are black in color. Her back has three diagonal scars across it, and her hair is jet-black.

RELEVANT SKILLS: Trajedy is a quick-witted, and has a mind of her own. She can focus greatly upon the task on hand, which in this case would be navigating. She used to be the navigator for a group of aerial fighters as well and was the navigator for the lead pilot.She has had some experience at sea as well as the co-captain of a big ship that sailed from Singapore to Canada.

PERSONALITY: Trajedy's sense of leadership is strong in her, and she is caring and patient towards her friends/crew mates.She is quick to defend any that stand against the crew and oppose it. She can be quite impatient at times, but only when the situation requires it.

OTHER: She is still involved in the aerial squad, but she only joins in the dog fight when they call on her [rare].

NAME: Shyander Van Lohe

POSITION: various - fighter

NICKNAME (if any): Shya, Lohe. Call her Shy and prepare to die ;)

GENDER/NATIONALITY: female. Born in Netherlands but was raised for the majority of her life in Australia.

SHORT BACKGROUND: Shya is a very experienced fighter, coming from a long line of highly-trained mercenaries. Her mother was very religious and hated the idea of Shya doing anything violet, whereas her father encouraged it as he used to co-lead a pirate crew before being killed by the other leader. She has inherited his dare-devil spirit and lust for danger.

APPEARANCE: small and slim, she's often considered weak. If you tell her this to her face she will hit you. She’s got long red hair that matches her temper and it’s nearly always tied in a long fish-tail plait. Shya’s eyes are very dark green that darken even further when she’s angry. Her skin has a dark tan from so much time in the sun.

RELEVANT SKILLS: kick-boxing, karate and a lot of made-up moves she’s practised over and over again in her spare time. She’s good with a gun and can use a sword and staff – not too well but she can still handle them. She’s also quick-witted and smart when fighting, and can improvise on a moments notice.

PERSONALITY: very butch, a show-off sometimes. Outgoing and deceptively friendly – she’s loyal to the man (or woman) who will pay her the most. She has a quick temper and can be very blunt and sarcastic. Her sharp tongue has got her in trouble many times over.

OTHER: Shya’s parents died recently – murder suspected but not yet proven. She, as the only child, inherited a surprising amount of money...

POSITION: bosum bosun (she can be a cook if you want but that isn't a wise idea)
NICKNAME (if any): She'll go by anything.
GENDER/NATIONALITY: female, French

SHORT BACKGROUND:
Her father worked in an apothecary in the South of France and thus raised his two daughters and son, hoping for his son to take over and his daughters to marry to respectable men. Unfortunately Rosette wasn't interested in marriage nor could she be considered a respectable person herself and so she left her family for a life in the skies. She had been on a few ships before and gained a good deal of experience from them. She is now looking for a new ship to follow after an unsavory affair with the previous captain and the navigator.
APPEARANCE:
wavy red hair which she would tie up or keep under a bandana and brown eyes. She also has an appreciative amount of chest and her skin has gone slightly tanned from working in southern areas such as Abyssinia and Thailand.
RELEVANT SKILLS:
Rosette has a good knowledge of poisons and medicine from her father, meaning that one of greatest tricks of getting rid of someone is by poisoning them. She doesn't often do this though unless asked to. She also is very skilled with a gun. She can use a cutlass for close combat though it's a last minute option. And the cutlass isn't usually hers.
PERSONALITY: Rosette's very rather flirty and often charms men or women to get what she wants. She is also rather passive and years in the skies means she prefers to be out of the thicket of trouble whenever she can (unless she starts it). She is quite calculative and often thinks of solutions where she would gain the most of it. She is, however, not bloodthirsty and wouldn't kill unneccesarily, fighting is often her last option. While she rather not do work, she is very meticulous in maintaining the ship and would always ensure it is fit to fly.
OTHER: She has two fiances. One that her father had arranged and another which was by accident during a trip to Thailand. She doesn't remember what happened exactly. She is also a horrible cook and speaks English and Spanish pretty well.

 Edit: Why does Rosette want to join? For the excitement! The thrill of flying! The captain who is easy on the eye!
But mostly because she needs money and er, needs to get out quick before the captain of (idk what to name a ship alright) 'El Flamenco' finds her. Rosette just attaches herself to any ship for a few years and drops off when she needs to. It's just the way she is.

Oh god this is so exciting. I'm on a complete pirate binge lately and I suddenly remembered Lee and Ally. And I was like

AND NOW THEY FINALLY GET CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!

But Lee gets more character development because THE MAN isn't controlling his life.

The man in this case being the queen of England.

NAME: David Blacklock
POSITION: Doctor
NICKNAME (if any): None
AGE: 29
GENDER/NATIONALITY: Male/English
SHORT BACKGROUND: David was born into a prosperous family, living with his parents, brother and two sisters, in east London in a large manor. His grandparents, being rich as his parents, paid for his education at a posh boy's school not far from where he lived. His father was a lawyer and mother a painter, and they both wanted their son to take up their careers. However, he showed little interest in either.
At primary school, he showed good knowledge and was near the top of the class in most subjects. When he went to senior school, however, he found Science to be his interest, and was told to lean towards being a doctor by his proffessors. So, at the age of eighteen, he left for university and became a well educated doctor. For the next three years, he worked at a small practice, then the next at a larger, city hospital.
He came across ships when he found his wife, Mary, who's father owned a beautiful ship named, not surprisingly, Mary. David got to know the ship from top to bottom, and so, went looking for a job to do with both the sea and healing.
APPEARANCE: Standing at approximately 6"0, David is tall and skinny, with a mop of dark brown hair covering his forehead. His eyes are chestnut coloured, and even though his height and deep, rumbling voice can seem daunting at times, this feature makes him seem as harmless as a baby. He has a large, hooked nose and thin lips. David's skin is a pale colour, and burns rather than tans - no staying in the sun too long for him!
RELEVANT SKILLS: David is, of course, highly skilled in doctoring, but also has a little knowledge of healing herbs. He knows his way around a ship, so could be of a little use in a storm. He is very tidy.
PERSONALITY: David is kind, but his sense of humor can seem rather wicked at times. He loves to laugh, and tells many jokes, but when he has an injured patient he is a completely different man and is as serious as a doctor should be. When around people, he can often be shy, but once he knows you, he's very outgoing. David prefers having a small group of people to talk to, rather than just one or a large group. He can come across as rather weird sometimes.
OTHER: His wife died last year, so he's sort of looking for that special someone. ;)
