meet.. the rottaer!
Rottaer - A small rodent creatu, found in the Relcore undergrounds.
They are completely blind, and navigate solely with their two main senses -
hearing, which is extremely well-developed with their two sets of ears, and their
sense of smell. They have orb-like glands on their tails, ribs and mouths, that
secrete a scent that only other rottaer can detect. They also give off a soft glow,
brightening when the creatu has heightened emotions, like excitement or fear.
Little do the rottaer know about the glow themselves, obviously.
Rottaer also have one 'extra' pair of limbs - they use these to carry their eggs
or offspring on their back, as they would otherwise have hard time guiding the
blind pups. They only have one offspring every so other years, and care for their
pups extensively, till they are almost adults and able to fend for themselves.
They are around the size of a chimby, although tame and domesticated rottaer grow
to be much heavier and chubbier in body shape. They're generally lax and friendly
creatu, given that they dont need to fight for territory when domesticated.
