This small creatu travels in the deep oceans of aquati, feeding off of ocean life,  plants and fish alike.  They live in under water caves, with an ideal amount of land and food supply. They don't see much sun like being so deep within the water, their eyes began to adjust to the dark waters. Making it easier for them to hunt in the darkness, as well as stay away from sleeping predators. They use their brightly colored tail fins, which are florescent, to attract prey. At a young age the like to consume algae and eat small fish. Their tails begin to glow because of the amount of algae they consume at a time. They are scavengers, looking for anything they could eat or use for their nests. They like to use moss and silt for the majority of their nests, because of it's soft texture.They are also nocturnal, sleeping in large underwater caves in packs. They have an eye for shiny things, and tend to collect them. They have even been know to steal small shiny things from unexpected people. They tend to mistake their owners from the time they hatch as their parent, and any creatu and person associated with the human that's carrying for them to be apart of the pack. At as babies they want to stay close to their parents, making one of the parents to stay behind and watch the hatchlings while the other goes hunting. The more you care for them the more they are loyal to the person caring for them. Plus they will feel over joyed if you spared a shiny ob
ject or something interesting to them, so if you stumble upon an egg, hatch, and care for it. It's more than willing to protect you at all costs.
