CONTEST CLOSED Thank you for all the lovely entries! I really appreciate the effort you have all invested in my contest! As soon as I get things together, the entry gifts will be sent out. You can probably expect them tomorrow night.
Winners will be announced by Friday midnight at the latest. There are a lot of entries to go through, and so many are wonderful there's going to be tough times choosing! For those of you who posted entries here rather than rmailing them to me before midnight, sorry. Part of the contest was following the guidelines.

Alright, the contest was judged over the past few nights, and last night we reached a final verdict. Because of the difficulty in picking out perfection from all those wonderful entries, I opened up a Judge's Choice award. Each judge was permitted to pick a personal favorite from all the non-placing entries. They'll be getting a little extra something for their wonderful talent and awe inspiring work! Images may be resized to fit in the forum. So, here are the Judge's Choice awardees and their entries. Clas sy chose Acidicfire! 
This is a beautiful rendition of a liyure and three roses in different stages of life. Excellent quality work. 14brokenmirrors chose FallynWings! 
The beautiful imagery of this picture really captured brokenmirrors, and I must say, its beautiful myself! My personal choice was luv2eatTacos! 
I love traditional art, and the quality if this drawing blew me away. Great work, Tacos!

Aren't those awesome? Give them a hand! Now, before I announce the winners, I would love to showcase the rest of the awesome entries, which will take several posts. And I'd also like to start with the number of entries recieved. Layamaria worked extremely hard for the contest. She submitted the most entries with a total of six hand drawn pieces of art! They're awesome, so here they are!

The next artist to submit the second largest number of entries was Ping with a total of three entries! 
Beautiful art, and WOAH! Is that rose really looking back at you? LOL, gotta love Ping's sense of artistry! I'll never look at another rose again without wondering if its looking back at me. :)

Absolutely beautiful, aren't they? I especially love the angel rose! Such a wonderful piece of artwork! ~~~~~~~~~ Now, give a big hand to Reeses as well! Beautiful images and artwork! 
Great job, Reeses! Keep up the great work! I enjoyed these! ~~~~~~~~~~ And now I give you Renaissance, who also submitted two pieces. One is an avatar which made me ooh and aah at it! 
Such a shame I cannot use that avatar on Rescreaut, but it is beautiful nontheless! So is the single rose! ~~~~~~~~~~ Now, for the next person who submitted two entries, I give you Username! 
Great work! I especially love the indigo meragon with her curiosity in examining the blue rose! Just wonderful! ~~~~~~~~~~ And now I give you the art of Bluefox! Sweet and simple, yet lovely pieces of art!

I haven't posted the winners yet, you two goofballs. ::tickles Yume and jenny:: And I want to hear no failings in this thread. Everyone did well! Now, the next post will have the individual entries, but before I do that, I want to introduce a very special entry. Not because it placed, but because it its my daughter's very first piece of digital art, done on paint, and I think, as a mother, that it is absolutely wonderful and should be given special consideration! I give you the lovely drawing of a bunny and a blue rose on the beach by my wonderful, talented, sweet little daughter, Geode! 
She did that entirely in Paint on the laptop! Wow, my little lady has some talent! Everyone give her a hand. I think I need to print this to hang on my fridge. What do you guys think? ::grins::
