ok - so I'm going to be heading up to my parents midmorning tomorrow.  if my dad is home, he can help me get those pages scanned. (if not, I'll be too afraid to mess something up - there's a lot of stuff hooked to their comps Dx)

I have a baby shower for my cousin to go to from noonish to probably around 3 or 4ish.  after I get back from that, dad should definitely be home. so I shouldn't be any later than tomorrow evening sometime I can scan'em in.

hopefully all will go well and it'll come out clear. we'll see. =)

Sorry I didn't get those up tonight as I was hoping. inlaws wanted to visit with the baby for much longer than I was expecting after the shower.  I am also not feeling very well, very fatigued, feverish and in pain due to a chest infection (related to nursing the baby).  my dad said he would help me get those pages scanned in though, so I'm hoping to have it done tomorrow despite how cruddy I feel. x(

thanks you guys.  chest still hurts and still fatigued, but at least not as bad as it was last night and the fever is mostly gone now at least.

dad just helped me scan those pages in, I think they came out quite good - especially when you use the zoom feature when viewing pics on the computer. xD  they are uploading to photobucket now, but are taking forever since the files are obviously quite large.  when they're finished I'll add the links to them here so you can save them. =)

ok they finally finished uploading.  I'm not sure why the top left page is bigger than the others.. it may have something to do with it has a lot less shaded areas so the computer didn't compress it as much to save on file space. I dunno.  but the whole thing is here. =)

again, the parts I've done are all shaded in pencil so it's a little distracting. blah.  but thankfully it is still pretty readable, and I think the fact you have the gridblocks marked out on your image will likely be an enormous help in figuring out where you left off.  hopefully these can help you out.

that helps a lot!! it might be better if you could erase the pencil shading and rescan then it would be a little more clear but its fine anyway!! my tu is in stocks atm but i am withdrawing a little at a time. ill ahve the mil for you soon.!

yeah I thought about erasing too.. but the negatives on that would be it would really mess up the project for myself (there is no grid on the cross stitch fabric Dx) but even worse than that I thought erasing would risk either leaving a lot of pencil smudges behind or possibly erase well but risk taking some of the symbol ink with it, which would cause more difficulties than solve. =o

as much as is shaded right now it's still very well usable and I think in better shape than had I attempted to erase.  believe me it was something I was considering doing. lol

have you downloaded and saved the images?  when you bring them up on your own computer vs viewing them on the net, you can zoom in a lot closer and its VERY clear, even in the darkest shaded areas - so much so that to myself I was thinking to myself.. dang, shoulda scanned these things earlier because the squares are a heck of a lot easier to see and not get crosseyed this way. lol

lol yea they should be fine. and i see how erasing might cause more harm than good. i am in the process of putting them together and possibly printing them out soon
