Thats most probably why xD In which case now you'd probably ask me why isn't green called lime or yellow called lemon. Being too inquisitive is bad for health ;p

Normal User Posts: 20	Because lemons and limes had people that care about them. Lazy name people just looked at an orange and went, "Hmmm... I don't really feel like naming it anything special. It's orange, let's just name it that." This is also why Whales are called whales and not seapandas.

One bird is a goose, two are a geese, but the plural of moose is not meese. Just like the plural of mouse is mice, but the plural of house is houses, not hice. The plural of man is men, but a couple of pan dont make a pen.

There are other fruits/veges that are green and other fruits/veges that are yellow! Btw, there is a orange capsicum but he's not fully orange like the orange XD -
