(Also I made it into the top 10 in the exam rankings despite not enough study/sleep, so yay?) Updating now before I start making a lesson plan for my class tomorrow! The entries for November 29 are officially closed and a new round may begin :3 And the answers for Guess That are... Guess That Band - Boyzone Boyzone is an Irish boy band formed in 1993. Its original lineup was comprised of Ronan Keating, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch. Eighteen of their singles made it to the UK top 10, six of which went to #1, and five of their albums also peaked at #1, with an estimated 25 million records sold worldwide. Unfortunately Stephen Gately died in 2009, and while the group still continues as a foursome, it's kind of not the same anymore. :( Guess That Asian Drama - Devil Beside You Devil Beside You was a Taiwanese drama that aired in 2005. It is based on a shoujo manga, Akuma de Sourou (The Devil Does Exist). The titular "devil", played by Mike He, is really just the school's resident bad boy who loves to bedevil people, especially the female lead played by Rainie Yang, who also played Barbie Hsu's character's best friend in Meteor Garden. The drama's opening song was Chou Nan Ren (Jerk) by Huang Yida, and really fits the bully vs feisty girl trope. Devil Beside You is a bit old and dated now, especially with all the bullying scenes (and the funny hair!), but the chemistry was sizzling. And then there's Mike He. He's sizzling. :P -------------------- Did you guess correctly? We'll find out when I add up the scores ;) And here are the clues for Guess That! for November 30, 2015. Guess That Band 1. Japanese alternative rock / pop-rock band formed in 1991 2. First Japanese act to perform in Madison Square Garden 3. For a rock band, their studio album titles are single, evocative words 4. Well the album titles actually do match the celestial band name Guess That Asian Drama 1. 2005 Taiwanese romantic comedy drama 2. Kinda fairy-tale-ish. Oh who am I kidding. Totally a reimagined fairy tale. 3. Amnesia turns a guy into his complete polar opposite 4. That bell charm that keeps ringing when true love walks by ------- Now while you start looking for answers Imma just try to sort out this muddle... T_T ~I know I'm infuriating. Live with it.~
