I wrote a short story about Unmyeong. At the beginning of the story he is a normal indigo veram. :3

Unmyeong:

It was just before midnight on Reiflem, where a lone Veram crept through the night. His name was Unmyeong and his hunger level was dropping by the second. He was on the hunt for nourishment - food scraps, fresh kill… anything, really. His eyes glowed like rubies and illuminated his way like headlights in the dark. He moved like a shadow in the night, his dark fur helping him blend in against his surroundings.

Unmyeong found himself in the graveyard, where tombstones rose above him like skyscrapers. He skulked amongst the graves of perished Reiflem creatu and stopped beside the huge stone structure marking the resting place of the recently deceased Iluvu queen. He raised his nose to sniff the air, then cocked his head. He sensed fresh kill nearby, though it could be tricky to obtain as he also sensed something living. He was silent as he followed the scent. He rounded the corner of the tomb to see an Ardur feasting on a slaughtered Otachie. Unmyeong began to snarl at the Ardur, warning it to back away and leave the kill. The Ardur raised its head and looked directly at Unmyeong. It snarled back and began stalking towards him. Before he knew it, it was pouncing and he was fighting back.

The two fought fiercely. Unmyeong stood on his hind legs and aimed swipes at the Ardur’s face, claws extended. The Ardur responded with a growl and bared its teeth. The Ardur left the kill unguarded for a moment and Unmyeong pounced. He gripped the food in his teeth and went to run away, but the Ardur lashed out with its tail, catching Unmyeong on his belly. The sharp plates on the Ardur’s tail slashed open Unmyeong’s flesh, and blood immediately began to ooze from the wound. Unmyeong yelped and collapsed onto the ground. The Ardur barked triumphantly, grabbed the prey and ran into the night.

Unmyeong was unable to move; his belly was crying out with pain. Suddenly in the distance a clock started chiming, signaling midnight. Unmyeong groaned as he grew hungrier still. Weak cries of freshly hatched creatu began to pierce the silence. Suddenly, before his eyes, dozens of creatu began crawling from their graves. He recognised all the familiar Reiflem species…the Otachie, the Myotis, Roditore and all the others, but they looked awful. Their skin was rotted in patches, revealing the flesh and bare bones beneath. They had glowing, soulless eyes of gold, pink, blue, which were all fixed on Unmyeong. They began stalking towards him, teeth bared. Unmyeong closed his eyes and waited for death to greet him…

Instead of teeth tearing into him as he expected, he felt a nose nuzzle into his fur and he opened one eye warily. His mouth fell open as he identified the creatu in front of him. She, like the others, was partially rotted, but he would recognise her beautifully mottled fur anywhere.

“My darling Snowae,” he whispered, “Is it really you?” He had never expected to see her again after he lost her that dreadful night…yet here she was in front of him. The female Veram nodded and turned to face the approaching hoard of creatu zombies. She bared her teeth and snarled menacingly. The others stopped and began to retreat into the darkness; she obviously had some sort of power over them. She turned back to Unmyeong and focused her attention on his wound. Unmyeong watched in amazement as she began licking the gash in his side. Before his eyes the blood retracted into the wound, the skin sealed and the fur regrew over the top. It was as if he had never been hurt. He stood up, marveling at his sudden feeling of well-being. He noticed some of the zombie creatu returning, but this time they carried pieces of meat in their mouths. One by one they came up to Unmyeong and dropped the meat at his feet. They bowed and ran away, leaving Unmyeong and Snowae in peace.

As Unmyeong ate, Snowae explained the situation to him. She explained how every night at midnight, all the creatu of the underworld arose from their graves to hunt for food. The creatu had elected Snowae queen of the underworld, which explained how she managed to control them so easily. Unmyeong feasted, and once he had eaten his fill, the two Veram snuggled together, making up for all the time they had lost.

As Unmyeong’s name suggested, it was fate that brought those two together that night. From that night on, Unmyeong visited his beloved’s grave every evening at midnight. He sat with her until it was time for her to return to her grave. This continued for many, many years, until Unmyeong finally reached his demise while protecting a family of Iluvu from another ferocious Ardur. That day, his soul travelled to the underworld where he became undead and was able to spend every minute of every day with his one and only, for eternity.

Author’s note: Snowae is one of my creatu; you can find her in my showroom. She's an undead calico veram ^^ I hope this story was okay; I don't usually share my writing publicly :D But it was fun to write so thank you for the challenge (though I did it in a bit of a rush!)
