Choe Suk Bin has been called "The Joseon Cinderella" by historiographers such as Chong Song Kim, due to her unique case of overcoming her social class, something that was impossible in her day. She is the only one to have done so in all Joseon history.

The answer is:
In all of Joseon's history, she was the only person who was able to change her caste status from lowest to highest. King Yeongjo's mother, Lady Choi, was born a slave. When King Sukjong noticed her and made her one of his concubines, he gave her a noble rank which made her a part of the royal family (concubines without a rank were not considered part of the royal family). Historians speculate that Sukjong must have loved her very much, because he ended up promoting her to the highest rank of his concubines with the ti
tle of Suk-bin. Choi Suk-bin, the "Joseon Cinderella," not only became the mother of a king, Yeongjo, but the ancestress of several kings as well. Perhaps the most famous drama version of her life story is the sageuk Dong Yi, starring Han Hyo-joo as Lady Choi and Ji Jin-hee as King Sukjong.
