Grand Prize: Xeeroh
For her representation of Flaxen
Now, some of you may be saying "aw no fair Xee's staff, and we can't compete with that art" but you are forgetting that I'm not judging this contest soley on art but mostly on personality, and Xee has this way of drawing Flaxen that fits him so well I can't even draw him like that. She gives him confidence with out making him look too devious or threatening. It's just perfect.
Infidelity: Theyellowflash
Flash was the only one that really managed to capture Infi's smooth, almost seductive brand of confidence. This ex
pression really sums up his personality perfectly.
Flaxen: LittleBird
Now, this was a hard choice. there were a lot of entries for Flaxen, but I had to go with this one do to it's uniqueness. This picture has a very different look and feel to it than the others, but still manages to represent Flaxen's personality very well. It's not at all how I pictured him, but it fits him.
Anui: Uwibami
Omnis are hard to draw, and Anui's unique design just makes things harder. Uwibami not only did a good on his design, but also got his stuck up, pompous attitude in there too. Despite the fact that his glasses look like sunglasses, making him seem substantially less nerdy, his air, and posture is absolutley perfect for his high class selfishness.
Neith: Tamia
I like this picture because I get a sense of maturity Neith's face that fits him very well. I think of Neith as someone who's seen things and knows stuff. He takes things serirously.
Majick: Nessi
This was another close one. I ended up choosing Nessi's peice because of it's romantic quality. No, not that kind of romance. I didn't choose it because of the rose or any of it's common conotations, but rather for the look in his eye. In this he looks like a dreamer, someone who lives in a world outside the realm of reality.
Atari: snowwolf22
I really like the sense of innocent sweetness here. The way Atari is looking happily expectant up at Anui really works. Who knew red eyes could look so sweet. :3
Veign: Ping
This picture really looks Veign. It even looks like some of the sketches I did of him myself. I also like the defiant look he's got right here. I can picture him arguing with Neith like this.
Kyser: Nortriker
I always thought of Kyser as more of a subtle bad guy. I like how this picture sort of stares at you with disinterest.
Aztril: lutinofeather
Now, this was a late entry, so normally I would count it, but there weren't a whole lot of entries for Aztril, and I really liked the way this picture worked for her. Even though she doesn't have much by way of an ex
pression, but somehow the design here, how her headdress is smoothed out and falls over he shoulders, it suits her personality perfectly.
