I drew this little guy a little over a year ago, and I really love him. I want to have more pictures of him, but I don't have the time. I want to see how you can do with him.
I would like only digital art please. In case you're one of the users who are upset about the no traditional rule, I don't have any problem with it. I can draw traditional art any time I want. It's the digital art I don't have the time for. So if I wanted traditional art, I could just do it myself. So digital art only please.
Prizes:
1st: 30 mil tu
2nd: 20 mil tu
3rd: 10 mil tu
Any other users who participate will get between 1-10 mil. For example, if you submit an artwork that is almost as good as 3rd place, I don't want to devalue your art and give you only 1 mil. This applies with the other place prizes too. I know art takes time and patience, so I want to be as fair as possible with that.
This is my creature. He is a Leotah. I described his species personality so you can maybe get some ideas for how you want to draw him.
The Leotah is a very fast, and agile creature. It can easily outwit any opponent with it's speed. Little is known about the wing-like structures on it's sides, but because they have been known to appear in a different location very quickly when one turns their back, it is believed that the Leotah can glide, short distances. Very few people have seen them glide because of their sly swiftness, so it is just a legend. When the Leotah feels safe, and relaxed, they are totally grey and black except for their eyes. This allows them to blend in with their environment so perfectly that they are nearly invisible. It is only when they feel threatened that their tail and markings light up like fire. The Leotah can make their tails so hot that fire can come off of it. They also have control of the heat of their wings. On rare occasions fire can be seen coming off of their wings, otherwise they can only cause burns when they are touched. They are very brave creatures that are not afraid to stand up to anything. Because of their relatively small size, they are always observing their environment and staying alert to any threats. Because of this it is very hard for Leotahs to trust anybody or anything. They will always stand up to defend themselves from even the smallest threats, or even from a person trying to help it. Because it is not very strong, it does not want to let down it's guard to anything. When a Leotah decides to trust someone, it devotes its' life to that person. If that person deceives, or hurts the Leotah, and breaks it's trust, it will never trust anyone ever again.
