Spectacular Musical Extravaganza!
Welcome one and all to a contest that will be unlike any other!
This is a combined celebration of several events this month for me, including both my Birthday (12 of June), and the anniversary of my join date (22 of June). It is also a commemoration of my time on this site, not just because I have been here for 6 years, but also because it has come time for me to take my leave.
I wanted to do something interesting and fun before I go, and thus I have created this contest. What I want to do is try and include everyone in this event, so there is going to be several different types of competition going on in which people can display their talents and really just have fun. The overall theme for this contest/celebration is music, and so the activities will fit around that theme.
But first of all, lets get a few little rules out of the way before we start.
Rules
~Please keep your number of posts to a minimum.
Its a good idea to edit your post with all your entries once you have completed them so this thread doesn't get heaps cluttered.
~Do not use other people work and claim it as your own.
I really shouldn't have to say this because it is in the sites rules but this is just a little reminder.
~Make sure you follow all of the site rules.
This includes being respectful and nice to each other, don't beg or whine, keep all content appropriate for all ages, no cheating, etc.
~Do not ask me about selling or giving my pets or items to you because I am leaving.
This is generally a bit rude and selfish and can also get rather messy so I would like to avoid that.
~I can change anything about the contests at any time.
Or even cancel a contest if it doesn't get enough entries. I will try and compensate entrants if this happens.
Festival of Voices
In this contest I want you to sing your heart out for me. Literally! If
you think you have a great singing voice then you should video or au
dio
record it, upload it and show me! It can be any song you like (as long as it complies with site rules of inappropriate language), and it would be cool if you could also quickly tell me why you chose that particular song.
Prizes:

2nd: 20 million tu
3rd: 10 million tu
Lyrical Rhapsody
Not really that great on the singing front, or too shy to show everyone
your vocals? That's alright, maybe you can have a go at writing a song
instead! Jot down a poem that could accompany some music and post it up
here for us all to enjoy.
Bonus points may be awarded if you write a song about Rescreatu, and it would be even better if you could sing your song and enter it for the signing competition too!

Fantasia
Do you play an instrument yourself? Well now is your chance to shine! Record yourself strumming, blowing or tapping out a tune on video or au
dio and upload it to share with all of us. There are no restrictions on what songs you can play (as long as it complies with site rules), and you can even sing along with it if you like!
Prizes:

2nd: 20 million tu
3rd: 10 million tu
Melodious Design
This section is an art contest following the theme of music and Rescreatu. You are free to draw whatever you like that you feel fits into these themes. Maybe a creatu playing an instrument, or even one of our NPC's dancing along. You can also use any sort of medium you like, whether it be digital, hand drawn, painted, crayoned, you name it!
Prizes:
Best Overall: 200 CP
Most Creative: 100 CP
Originality of Media: 100 CP
Guessing Game
None of the other contests here really your style? Would you just like to kick back and have a little bit of no hassle fun, with the chance to win some prizes? Well then this is the right game for you. You have to try and guess the following three things and if you are the first person to guess one correctly you are a winner. Therefore there will be three chances to win, though if you guess two or even all three right at once you may win all the prizes!
What instrument do I play?
What is my favorite musical movie?
What is my favourite band?
Each correct guess will win 1 million tu!
The contests will end probably at the end of this month, though may be extended in certain cases.
