Okay this is my first time doing this so please bear with me. I’ve always loved Res art and admired the arts of others and I’ve seen contests before although I’ve not won any.  So I promised myself that if I ever got enough tu I’d hold a contest of my own, so here it is. Now that I’m done with the whole story of how this came to be, here’s the important stoof:

 

Rules:

I know what you’re thinking, this is going to go on forever right? Well it might so XD.

1.       No spamming (on the board to other participants or me ect.)

2.       No begging (no saying “Oh please pick me please!” nope)

3.       No negative comments towards other participants (“that stinks” or “ you’re horrible” these comments make me very mad and will not be tolerated)

4.       No copying (if I see you are then you will be disqualified automatically and reported)

5.       No bribing (me or anyone else)

6.       Not sure if this counts as a rule but once a piece of work is submitted it belongs to me and can be used however I deem fit.

7.       Try to have fun with it okay (this isn’t really a rule just a suggestion)

Lots of NO’s right? Yus there are, so please follow these rules; if you break them you will be disqualified and in some cases reported.

The Contest:

Has three categories and each category has a different art subject. The categories don’t affect each other in any way except for the GP so you can enter one or all if you like doesn’t matter to me. As for entries I’m not sure how many I’ll get so for now you can enter as many as you want though  I might make a limiter later.

Fursona:

Not a very creative ti
tle but I like to keep things simple. Here’s her info/profile

 

Name- Shaylia

 

Look-

A half cat-half dog creature, my fursona is one-of-my-mind. She has extremely sharp fangs, like a vampire, and wings that are silver with light purple tips and black stripes down their middles. Her tail is red and looks like it belongs to a dragon with spines going down the top to the tip where there is an spear point-shaped tip. As for the main of her body, it’s covered in short-ish fur that’s black with a light brown streak every once and a while.  She has an extra bit of hair that hangs over her left eye. Unlike most of her fur, it’s black with a red tip. She has small gold ball earings and always wears a bracelet like this: (the top one)http://img1.scorehere.com/img/product/681329214455/s/275/image.png only it has SWAMP ZONEY on it. She wears it on her left wrist. My fursona is able to walk on two legs and four although she prefers four because she can use her full power in jumps and attacks. Her eyes are dark brown, almost like chocolate and her paws are tipped with white as are her ears. Most of the time you can’t see her claws because she prefers to keep them sheathed but they are a dull gold color about one inch each in length and are curved at the tips. She also has a scar, a small red dot on her front left paw, from what, not even she remembers.

 

Personality-

She’s known as kind, but can be a bit judgmental and has a short temper. She doesn’t really like water (except for drinking) but she prefers to drink apple juice. Her face changes from a stony gaze to a friendly and almost emphatic gaze in an instant. She’s not too responsible but she is great at keeping secrets and will do whatever she can to help a friend in need. Her daemon in case you wanted to know is an owl named Oiônistêrion. She’s loving but is not always attuned to other’s needs as much as her own unless they express them though words. She cannot read lip-speaking so don’t even try. She’s an attentive learner but doesn’t like homework at ALL. She prefers reading fantasy, vampires, dragons and such and loves when people can relate to what she likes. Above all, her imagination can take different forms that help shape her world. She wishes she could be a fighter but she was born in the wrong time to do so. She always feels out of place but she tries her hardest to fit in despite initial shyness and loathing towards people she doesn’t know. Her aura is light blueish purple and only shows through her eyes and around her paws as a light glow.

Her human skin is light tan, for her hair, tail, ears and wings they’re the same as on her animal self. Her shirt is forest green and her pants are jeans, dark blue ones. You have to do a bit more imagining on her anthro self then her normal one but if it’s your strength then go for it!

 

Creatu:

I have some creatu that are dying to be drawn so I’m making a section for them too.

1.       Zhalia the female orchid aukira

which is like the scale on her forehead with a pearl in the middle and two feathers hanging off the bottom. She is very smart and a bit full of herself so she doesn’t like to hang around people or creatu too “low in the food chain” but she’s loving and emphatic so she’s not all bad.

2.       Euandros the male nattie ezahni

He is brave and his name is Greek, so him in greek garb (armor) would be cooleo!  Was my first CS’er and I imagine his parents to be a unicorn and ezahni, weird right?

3.       Belen the nattie female harberisar

Her name comes from a book about dragons called: The Silver Dragon Codex and the Belen in the book does a fire fan dance, you know spinning around with giant metal fans that are on fire. She tries to be graceful but being a dino at about 3tons it doesn’t really work. Please don’t make her in a frilly skirt or anything and no sparkles they annoy me.

4.       Maikoto the silver male veram

Was my first silver I luffs him so much! He is the leader of a pack made of some of my “dog” creatus and his mate is a tesuri. If you want you can draw them together too, the tesuri is a black female named Tashah.

 

Just so ya know, all of the pets can be any age you chose for my pets are ageless! I also don’t like frilly, sparkly or girly stoofs so please don’t put that unless you really think it works.

 

Animation/banners/avatars/sprites:

Big section right? I love animated stuff so I’m making a section dedicated to it. Banners and avatars are welcomed also. Now since this is a hard subject to improv on I’m going to give some pointers.

ink, stick out their tongues ect. but make sure it looks good if you’re going to animate. Post if you need help with details that I haven’t mentioned but please make your question clear so I can answer it quickly and efficiently.

Prizes:

Each section has a SP or section prize and then there is also a GP or grande prize if I think one piece of art goes up and beyond expectations. I might also have honorable mentions but I don’t really know yet. Also I only offer first prizes, sorry but with so many sections my wallets are dying here!

 

SP’s: 1mil pure for each section

GP: 2mil pure and a nattie of whatever CS is in shops

 

Also please note that one person can win more than one SP and the GP as well it depends on how much I like their art but the GP is not guaranteed, if I don’t think anyone went above and beyond what I expected then I won’t be giving one. I won’t chose according to my preference of creatu or section chosen but rather on how much I like the art.

 

Brownie Points:

Just things that I like in art, feel free to follow them or not follow doesn’t really matter they are suggestions.

1.       Desktop sized pics

2.       Little animations such as blinking, head nodding ect.

3.       Detailed or cell shading

4.       People sticking to their strengths

5.       Creativity! (but not too much that I can’t recognize it)
