I'm a small bit confused, can you mix drawing with different things, for like adding color? And like detailing things? I have an idea, I just don't want to be disqualified XD I'm big on digital art, but I guess that's out of question. Basically, I want to do something with paper and I need pencils and pens to add detail and color, but paper and various other things are main, can I do that?

So long as what you are doing isnt just some form of drawing, you can add the odd little detail with pencil or colouring but the drawing aspects shouldnt be the central focus.
And yes you can use scissors
