Okay. So. at my school we're having a valentines dance, and it's a tradition for the girls to ask the guys. I have lots of good ideas, but I want to find the perfect one. So here it goes:
Whoever comes up with the cutest idea wins a prize~
1st Place Prize: (the idea I will be using)
tu and an Iluvu (no idea what color yet, probably dyed)
2nd Place Prize: (honorable mention)
nattie iluvu (or tu. I'll let you pick)
3rd Place Prize: (honorable mention)

GUYS I ASKED HIM AND HE SAID YES! :D Woohoo. I did my original plan, but it involves some of your ideas, so I will announce the winners soon! You can still post ideas, and if one is really cute, you could win.

you may enter as many times as you want, there basically aren't any rules other than please keep it appropriate.

it mostly depends on who the person is and what they like to do, like if they are very social try asking them with a joke like "i will give you a cookie if you dance with me." 

or if they are more for mysteries, make a quest of it. write a note that leads them to another note, then to as many as you feel like and at the end have them call you XD

another fun one is the colors
everyone has heard of this? yes?
 bassically you can get anything with a variety of colors, balloons or constructon paper would work or even markers/pens. i sugest skittles XD 
next place the colors Red,Green,Yellow, and purple
write a note saying, "will you go to the dance with me? return the blue for no, red for yes"
there is no blue XD (not even in skittles)

Buy a bouquet of roses. Then attach a note to each individual rose stem by a piece of thread. The note can be romantic things or just comments about what you like about the person. Or you can previously write a paragraph and only write a few words on each note. Where as the last note would probably say something about asking him to the dance. I think the paragraph thing is good because then they wonder what words will come next or if anything will come at all. And basically just leave the roses for them throughout the day in each class or at different time periods or something. Then they can expect more :)

So if you do the paragraph thing, it would be like:
Rose 1: a few words
Rose 2: A few more words
Rose 3: More words
Then so on and so on and the last would be the rose asking them to go with you to the dance.

Anyhow, make sure that the person finds each rose(you should probably address it to him). The rose could just be sitting on his desk before he comes into class or something. Maybe some friends would be willing to help get it to him. By the end of the day, he should have a whole vase of roses and all the notes, or the pieces of words written out. If it is a paragraph, he can piece it all together at the end and give you an answer :)

I'd like to know about you. You should...
a. Bring a bunch of friends with you to support you and you ask.
b. get all flirty and bring it up randomly
c. simply ask nicely
d. how much time do you have? How familiar are you with the guy you plan on asking? try warming up to the guy and asking.
e. Are you already going out with each other(for what ever really) ask him on one of those
f. related to e. Ask him on a scary rollar coaster ^^

Well we guys want girls who go for something different, something that's not usually done by girls. Like video games related, baseball related, car related, or other manly things (not trying to be sexist, I swear). You can do something along those lines. But to help you, I have a specific suggestion in mind and I might add some more soon if I have time.

1. Go to a computer shop near your school where guys usually play computer games. Ask the owner of the store if you can manipulate the computers so that you can change the screen saver to "(Name of Guy) will you go to the dance with me?". Now, take the guy you wanna ask to the computer shop or if the guy usually goes there then you won't have a problem. Program the computers in such a way that all of a sudden when you and the guy are in the computer shop all computers suddenly show the screen saver. OR you can ask help from those people to simultaneously stop playing and present the screen saver.

You know what you should do? Get a bunch of girls together, and make shirts or signs spelling out

Have a few friends, maybe 5? nd go t the guy and ask which one of us do you think wants to go to the dance? and you hold the yes and the others hold the no.

Bring him flowers and chocolates and a card?  OR  Make a big poster and ask him~ 

Maybe even invite him over and ask privately with music and roses X3 (Im a hopeless romantic)

Paint a heart on each one...on one side,any side.
with fingernail polish.
then mark each dice with a diffrent color,showing that
particular dice is THAT guy.
Shake them up in a cup,and then drop them low on the floor.
what dice thats shows a heart,get puts back in the cup,
the other that dont show a heart,gets put away.
then re shake,and do it over and over again...untill you are
left with that one guy. <3 easy breezy lemon squeezy <3

Sym got an idea ^.^
It's like a scavenger hunt request ^.^ Put a note on their desk or locker with a clue to a place. From there they will get part of the message, and a clue to the location of next part of the message! 
Sym saw this and was like, "Foo... I have no ideas T.T", but then when I came back, "Poof! I haz an idea!!" Lol :) I can't deny iluvus and tu..

EDIT: Sym noticed this was basically said. She will return with an idea...

EDIT II: Okay. Idea! Message in a bottle! :D Buy a little bottle in a store (or Etsy.com has nice ones), first. Buy normal sand, or sand his favorite color or pink for Valentines Day, and fill the bottle partially. Creatively make a cute note asking him out, and roll it up. Tie it with pretty, sparkly ribbon if you like XD Then, put the message in the bottle, and *poof*, awesome, cute way. Put it in his backpack, or next to his door :) I remember something similar being used by one of my friends to a guy in our class, he loved it. They are a happy little couple now :3

On a piece of paper, write "Will you go to the dance with me?" or something of the like. When you two have a class together, throw the airplance at him when he's not paying attention. His reaction should be cute, haha :) Good luck!

Write on a piece of paper:

Talk to his friends and yours so you guys all get together to eat lunch together or something and then ask him to come with you to order everyone's food so your alone. Then ask him if he likes dancing. If he says yes talk to him about his favorite kinds and then bring up the dance and ask if he wants to come with you. If he says he doesn't dance tell him about the kinds of food the dance provides and ask witch is his favorite. Then ask if he will eat the great food with you at the dance and tell him your favorite kind.

Have different people bring him a rose in each class until it spells out the sentence, so class 1 = will, class 2 = you, and so on... until it spells out will you go to the dance with me
