Name: Ceasefire
Species: Jahra
Color: Black
Gender: Male
Personality: Unsociable, arrogant and aggressive at first glance. Despite this, he does have a softer, fun-loving side, albeit a seldom see one. He's also quick and cunning, which makes him a dangerous enemy. If befriended, which is quite hard to do, he is exceptionally loyal and will protect you with his life.
He also has a stereotypical inquisitive side, as most jahra do. He can often be found observing things from a high perch and occasionally taking things apart and trying to turn them into new things.
Backstory: Ceasefire was born alone in the forests of Relcore. There he wandered, nameless and horribly confused for some time, before meeting an adult indigo jahra called Kaijoh. Kaijoh acted as a father figure to Ceasefire, teaching him to hunt and to fight, the latter of which Ceasefire didn't really enjoy. Kaijoh dubbed the young jahra Ceasefire, as a homage to his pacifism. The older jahra was a firm, but fair guardian who Ceasefire loved and respected very much.
Very few know that Ceasefire was once a jovial, friendly character. When not hunting or receiving a battle lesson, he would bound around Kaijoh like an excited zenerix pup, ousting him into games and sneaking up on the older jahra to spook him for fun. This changed drastically though, when the two of them were accidentally caught in the trail of a silver mother berrok in a terrible mood.
They never knew for certain, but they suspected she had recently lost her cubs. The two didn't have time to elaborate on this before she attacked.
Kaijoh and Ceasefire bolted, the berrok chasing close behind. Somewhere, the two were separated and the adolescent black jahra was left alone to defend himself against the berrok. In his panic, he backed himself into a corner, leaving the snarling berrok perfect opportunity to take her anger out on the frightened jahra.
Suddenly, a dark blue shape leapt off the hill above Ceasefire, tackling the berrok over and biting down hard on her neck. Kaijoh had come to the rescue.
The two struggled for what seemed like ages. Kaijoh was much smaller, but also much faster. His agility outmatched the berrok's, but her strength outmatched his. Kaijoh was thrown hard against the ground, and the berrok thought she had triumphed. Turning back to her unfortunate victim, she approached slowly, snarling and glaring at the young jahra. Before she could get there, Kaijoh leaped up and slammed himself into her side, knocking her over close to the edge of a cliff.
She struggled, falling quickly due to her weight dragging the rocks and causing them to crumble. The rocks gave way underneath her, and she plummeted to the rushing water below- though not without taking the indigo jahra with her.
Ceasefire was horrified, rushing down to the rocks beside the river to search for his guardian. Though, he already knew he was gone.
The black jahra grew depressed and distant, sulking for weeks. He didn't bother to leave the den he and Kaijoh had built together, starving himself in his grief. Eventually, he pulled himself together enough to go out hunting and resume his life, though he'd permanently changed due to the loss of his beloved guardian.
